For the docuseries “Una Squadra,” dedicated to the 1976 Davis Cup victory in Chile and the on- and off-court adventures of the “Four Musketeers” Panatta, Bertolucci, Barazzuti, and Zugarelli, we developed an all-digital communication strategy with a focus on brand awareness.

The challenge: launching the docuseries

Sky Documentaries asked us to launch the docuseries “Una Squadra” with a communication campaign that would accompany the series episode by episode.

The idea: creating an all-digital strategy

We focused our efforts on digital media, developing an ad strategy with the goal of video views and impressions. We created everything from the website to social ads, accompanying the series episode by episode to extraordinary success, ultimately earning the title of Docuserie of the Year at FeST 2022.

The execution: an iconic campaign for an iconic team

Using images and videos from the series, we developed a campaign that positioned the docuseries as something beyond just sports, aiming to reach a target not only passionate about tennis but also connected to the nostalgia of the 1970s.

A social page to launch the ads

Originally created as a support page to launch the ads, the Facebook page for “Una Squadra” gradually became filled with positive comments about the series, turning into a platform that also helped increase the docuseries’ visibility.

The campaign directed the audience to a dedicated website, entirely created in-house at Melismelis, where visitors could learn more about the story of this magnificent team, the main players, and the docuseries in general.
