A rebranding to refresh the visual identity, website, positioning, and communication strategy is a regular task for an agency with 40 years of experience like Melismelis. However, this time it was different, as the client was the agency itself, and the brief came from within—stemming from the entire team’s desire to develop an identity that truly reflects the evolution of the agency over the past 10 years.
As a result, the ultralight logo designed in 2013 has been replaced with an extrabold design, while the tones and colors have become more vibrant. The only element that remains is the emblem, which resembles a flower but is actually a decorative motif created by Giambattista Bodoni, honoring 18th-century Italian typographic art—because every evolution is rooted in culture.
With the restyling, however, the most significant change for Melismelis is the promise itself, which is no longer just about “simplifying life for companies,” as the previous pay-off suggested.
Now, Melismelis creates omnichannel, vertical communication projects for both Italian and international brands. It simplifies and streamlines all work processes through empathy and genuine relationships. It amazes with ideas born from thoughtful reasoning and delivers tangible results.
