Once again, Alcantara has chosen Melismelis as its communication partner for its presence at Milan Design Week 2024. The brand will take part in three major events, aiming to showcase the innovation, quality, and high design value that have always been at the core of the Alcantara world. For this occasion, Melismelis developed the concept and managed the event “Driving into Endless Customizations” at the ADI Design Museum, produced a video highlighting the close bond between Alcantara and the art displayed during the exhibition “Generating Visions – Alcantara in the Arts”, and handled the brand’s social media and digital strategy throughout the design week.
“Driving into Endless Customizations” is the concept created by Melismelis for Alcantara’s presence at the ADI Design Museum, which also hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the Car Design Award 2024 organized by Auto & Design, with Alcantara as the main partner. In addition to designing the event, Melismelis also created all the communication materials and the installation, featuring oversized replicas of key car interior elements. Seats, dashboards, and doors were enlarged to give visitors an immersive experience of Alcantara’s application in the automotive world.
Through “Generating Visions – Alcantara in the Arts”, the company entered one of the icons of art and design, Triennale Milano, showcasing a unique selection of works from its historical archive. Seven masterpieces by Yuri Ancarani, Alberto Biasi, Zhang Chun Hong, Qin Feng, Soundwalk Collective, Nanda Vigo, and Lorenzo Vitturi guided visitors through the exhibition, which concluded with a video created by Melismelis to showcase the unbreakable link between Alcantara and the world of art and theater, as well as the company’s ability to innovate and experiment.
Finally, Melismelis created an editorial plan for Alcantara’s Instagram page, inviting people to visit the brand’s installations and events during Milan Design Week.
